A look back at Futrołajki 2025
god, pffhaha; I swear, every time I go to Futrołajki, I walk away thinking "wow, that was probably my best con so far"
it's silly, but it's true, it was!!
...though last year was quite tough competition `,:3
all that said, wherever they are in the top 10, this year's Futrołajki were fucking great.
just hanging around and chatting with the furries -- friends and strangers alike -- is just such a fun, exhilarating experience. the furry community is far from perfect, but it's still such a fun, welcoming group of beautiful, imaginative creatures, and I'm glad to be part of it.
putting yourself out there can be such a thrill in this cozy setting of fellow freaks. I enjoyed every little interaction, and I'm thankful for all of them -- from long conversations at the tea house, to little mews exchanged in hallways! <33
I know none of y'all are reading this and I'm just shouting into the void but-- thanks for the fun, haha~ :3
as I look back at my first con 2 years ago, I feel like I've changed so much. I still have plenty of rough edges, but I'm glad to be where I am, and I'm glad I got to be a small part of our colorful tapestry again, even just for a brief moment. <3
